General questions
What exactly do you do?
VIC is a team of experienced visa consultants dedicated to supporting Egyptian travelers with their visa applications for destinations such as the Schengen area, UK, USA, and more. While we guide you through every step of the visa process, offering expert advice, document preparation assistance, and interview preparation, we do not apply on your behalf, nor do we provide travel opportunities such as jobs, scholarships, or sponsorships. Our goal is to help you submit a strong, complete, and well-prepared application.
Can you guarantee that my visa will be approved?
No, we cannot guarantee visa approval — no legitimate consultant or agency can. Visa decisions are made solely by the embassy or consulate based on your personal circumstances, documents, and the policies of the destination country. However, what we can guarantee is that we will help you submit a complete, well-organized, and properly prepared application to give you the best possible chance of success.
Do you apply for the visa on my behalf?
No, we do not — and in most cases, no one legally can. Visa applications are personal and must be submitted by the applicant themselves, either in person or through authorized submission centers, depending on the country. In very limited cases and under specific conditions (such as for minors or certain family applications), a representative may be allowed to submit the documents, but this is rare and not universally accepted by all embassies. Our role is to guide, prepare, and support you through every step so you can apply with confidence.
How long does the visa application process take?
The processing time varies depending on the destination country, the type of visa, and the time of year. For example:
- Schengen visas usually take around 15 working days on average, but this is not guaranteed and can take longer during peak seasons.
- UK visas typically take 2 to 6 calendar weeks, depending on the visa type and the volume of applications.
- USA visa processing times vary widely depending on the type of visa and appointment availability at the embassy.
- Other countries each have their own timelines, which can change based on embassy workload, holidays, and application volume.
We'll always inform you of the most up-to-date estimates for your specific case when we start working together.
What are the official visa fees?
These are the official fees you pay to embassies and application centers (last verified: July 2026):
- Schengen: EUR 90 for adults, EUR 45 for children aged 6-12, free under 6.
- UK (Standard Visitor, up to 6 months): GBP 135.
- USA (B1/B2): USD 185 interview application fee, plus an additional USD 250 fee introduced in 2025.
Application centers (TLS, VFS, or BLS) usually add their own service charge depending on the country. These fees are entirely separate from our service fees, and they change — always verify on the embassy or application-center website before paying.

Confidentiality
How do you protect my personal information?
Your documents and personal details are used for one purpose only: preparing your visa application. Only the consultant handling your case has access to your file, and we never sell, rent, or share your information with any third party.
Will my information ever leave V.I.C?
Only as part of your own application. The documents you prepare with us go to the embassy, consulate, or official visa center you are applying through — nowhere else, and always with your knowledge.
What happens to my documents after my case ends?
We keep your file only for as long as your case needs it. If you would like your documents returned or your information deleted once your case is closed, just ask and we will do it.
The team
Who will handle my case?
Your case is handled by our consulting team, led by Hesham Zohier, our Head Consultant & Founder. You can meet the team on our About Us page.
Will I deal with the same consultant throughout?
Yes. The consultant who reviews your case stays with you from the first assessment until the embassy issues its decision, so you never have to re-explain your situation.
